About Dr. Hawkins
A lifelong Tennessean, Dr. Hawkins received his Bachelor of Science from University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He went on to receive his medical degree from James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. He returned to Knoxville to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He joined Tennessee Center for Internal Medicine in 2004.
Dr. Hawkins and his wife, Elizabeth, have a son and a daughter. In his free time, he enjoys running, snow skiing, and cheering on the Vols.
