What technology do I need for a virtual visit?
Any smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet will work. No special apps or downloads needed - our platform is secure and easy to use. Appointments can also be carried out via regular phone call, if needed.
What should I do to prepare for my first virtual visit?
No preparation is needed. You're welcome to jot down questions or a quick food log to inform your conversation, but your dietitian will be equipped to guide the conversation from the start.
What happens during a virtual nutrition appointment?
Your first visit is a conversation. You'll talk about your health history, daily habits, and goals. From there, your dietitian will help you build a plan that's realistic, supportive, sustainable, and totally personalized.
What if I’ve struggled with diets in the past?
That's actually very common - and why Sylvan exists. We take a non-diet, judgement-free approach that focuses on what works for you long-term, not on short-term restrictions.
