About Dr. Rickard

Dr. Rickard grew up in Murfreesboro, TN in a family with 2 physician parents. She received a Bachelor's of Science in Biology at Duke University, graduating magna cum laude. She was also included into Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Rickard then came back to Tennessee and graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School in 2007. In 2011 she completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt as well. Dr. Rickard is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She joined CSIMP in August 2011 and loves taking care of all members of a family and cultivating a relationship with each patient. In April 2020 she was featured in Medical Professionals - Nashville, a magazine about the local medical community.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading, practicing yoga, hiking, baking, and cheering for Duke.
