A native of East Tennessee, Dr. Hix was raised in Livingston and has lived in Cookeville since 2007. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in 1998 and completed an internship and residency in the Greenville, South Carolina Hospital system. In her spare time, Dr. Hix enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending time with her husband and three adult children.
