Chief
Executive Officer
Tim Young, MPH, CMPE, MT

Tim
Young is the Chief Executive Officer for Summit Medical Group.
He completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the
University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He is a Certified Medical
Practice Executive (CMPE) from the American College of Medical
Practice Executives. He also holds certification and licensure
as a Medical Technologist from the American College of Clinical
Pathology (ASCP).
Tim
has been with the company since its initial formation in 1995.
Tim is an active member of Medial Group Management Association,
American Public Health Association, and Healthcare Financial
Management Association. He also serves on the boards of two
area healthcare organizations.
Tim
resides in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his two daughters. |

Executive
Vice-President / Chief Medical Officer
Randall Curnow, Jr., MD, MBA, FACP, FACHE, FACPE

Randall
Curnow Jr., MD, MBA, FACP, FACHE, FACPE is the Medical Director
for Summit Medical Group. Dr. Curnow received a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Biology and Philosophy from Oberlin College.
Following graduation he attended the University Of Virginia
School Of Medicine where he received his MD in 1994. Upon
completion of medical school, Dr. Curnow went to Emory University
School of Medicine for his residency program in Internal Medicine.
After finishing his residency program, he joined a Primary
Care Internal Medicine practice in Raleigh, North Carolina.
In additional to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Curnow
has served as the President of his Medical group for the last
four years prior to joining Summit Medical Group in 2008.
Dr. Curnow is board certified in Internal Medicine.
In
addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Curnow also received
an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; has
served on the board of directors of numerous healthcare organizations;
and has published articles and a book on Medical Management.
He is a Certified Healthcare Executive (FACHE) from the American
College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Physician
Executive from the American College of Physician Executives,
for which he also became a fellow (FACPE) in 2007. He is also
an active member in the American College of Physicians and
was awarded fellowship (FACP) in 2008. Dr. Curnow is also
a member of the American Medical Association and has state
medical licenses in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia. |

Executive Vice-President / Chief Operating Officer
Jennie Campbell, CMPE

Jennie
Campbell is the Chief Operating Officer for Summit Medical
Group. She is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park,
Florida where she majored in Organizational Behavior. She
is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) from the
American College of Medical Practice Executives. She also
holds two certifications in physician coding.
Jennie
has held a variety of physician practice administration and
consulting roles over the past twenty-one years. Prior to
joining Summit Medical Group in 2007 she was a partner in
the accounting and consulting firm of Pershing Yoakley & Associates
where she led a team of consulting professionals focused on
physician matters in the healthcare industry. Her history
also includes leadership of the operations, compliance and
business office functions for both independent and hospital-owned
physician practices.
Jennie
is recognized as a national expert on a number of physician-related
topics and has presented to national audiences on a variety
of coding, compliance and practice management subjects. She
is a member of the editorial advisory panel for The Doctors
Office, a HealthLeaders publication, and is an active member
of the Medical Group Management Association, the American
Health Information Association and the American Academy of
Professional Coders. |

Chief Financial Officer
Jerry D. Hall, CPA

Jerry
Hall is Chief Financial Officer for Summit Medical Group and
has responsibility for accounting, financial analysis, patient
financial services and contract management. He is a graduate
of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Jerry practiced
as a certified public accountant for ten years with an international
accounting firm. He served as treasurer of a privately held
company for eleven years prior to joining Summit Medical Group
in 1996.
Jerry
is a member of Medical Group Management Association, American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Tennessee Society
of Certified Public Accountants.
Jerry
resides in Farragut with his wife, also an accountant and
graduate of the University of Tennessee, and two daughters. |

Vice
President of Ancillary Services And Business Development
Jack Kam, MBA

Jack
Kam was born and raised in Hong Kong, and came to the United
States for post-secondary education. He completed his undergraduate
and post-graduate training at the University of Tennessee
Medical Center in Knoxville and the University of Tennessee
Center of Health Sciences in Memphis. He received board certifications
in both Medical Technology and Nuclear Medicine Technology,
and earned his MBA degree from the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville.
Jack
built the first nuclear medicine technology school in East
Tennessee and the first clinical positron emission tomography
(PET) center in the US. Prior to his affiliation with Summit
Medical Group in 1996, Jack has served in various clinical
sectors in the past including education, research, technology
development and manufacturing, regulatory compliance, in-patient
and out-patient services.
Jack
is an active member of many technical and professional organizations
to include the American College of Healthcare Executives.
He is an active member in his community, has served in various
capacities with the local YMCA and KARM and has been the president
of the Organization of Chinese Americans for many years.
Married
with two children, Jack enjoys sports, reading, music and
travelling in his leisure time. |

Vice President & General Counsel
Jeffrey H. Tuck, R.N., B.A., J.D.

Jeff
Tuck is the Vice President and General Counsel for Summit
Medical Group and has responsibility for compliance, legal
services and risk management. A native of Blount County where
he now resides with his wife and son, Jeff holds a Diploma
in Nursing from St. Mary's Medical Center School of Nursing
in Knoxville, a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in Health Care
Management from Maryville College, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence
from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He is licensed
as a Registered Nurse and an Attorney by the State of Tennessee.
Jeff's
experience includes multiple levels of clinical and administrative
positions in nursing and hospital management. His legal experience
includes in-house counsel positions in both hospitals and
physician practice. Jeff lectures to physicians and other
health care providers across the State on medical-legal and
healthcare compliance issues. He is a member of the Tennessee
Bar Association - Health Law Section, the American Health
Lawyers Association, The Healthcare Corporate Compliance Association,
and the Medical Group Management Association where he currently
serves on the Advisory Committee to the Centers for Medicare
and Medicaid Services of the Federal Government. |

Vice President of Hospitalist Services
M. Lance Boyd, N.H.A.

Lance
Boyd is Vice President of Hospitalist Services for Summit
Medical Group and has responsibility for hospitalist and pulmonary
services. He is a native of North Little Rock, Arkansas and
holds a B.A. in Kinesiology from Harding University. He also
holds a Secondary Education Certification and is a licensed
Nursing Home Administrator in Florida and Tennessee.
Lance
served as an Administrator with National Healthcare Corporation
in Chattanooga, Milan and Knoxville, Tennessee since 1997
before joining Summit in 2008.
He
currently resides in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife and
three children. |

Vice President of Information Services
Ron L. Scoggins

Ron
Scoggins is the Vice President of Information Services for
Summit Medical Group and presently has responsibility for
the Information Technology Department > as well as the support
and implementation of the corporation's electronic medical
records system. He attended the University of Memphis.
Ron
has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology,
including twenty-four years in the field of health care, working
with large-scale integrated delivery systems, commercial laboratories
and physician groups. Ron joined Summit Medical Group in 2002
as the Director of Information Systems prior to being promoted
to Vice President of Information Services.
Ron
resides in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife. In his leisure
time he enjoys sports, reading, music, and exploring in the
Smoky Mountains. |
