Walker E. Nowell, D.O.

Knoxville, Tennessee is the birthplace of Dr. Nowell. He attended the University of Georgia and received his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Mercer University School of Pharmacy in 1994. After practicing pharmacy for a few years, he went to medical school. He received his medical degree from The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia in 2000. Dr. Nowell completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

Dr. Nowell is board certified in Internal Medicine and joined Concord Medical Center in July 2003. He is married to Jodi Nowell and the couple have three children. He enjoys mountain biking, snow skiing, golf, and water sports.
